A lifelong love of nature and an interest in botany and wildlife are reflected in these compositions. Inspiration for these works come from being surrounded by an abundance of natural wonders. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 20 minutes from the studio and the mountains are a constant presence. The Park has such an incredible biodiversity that it would be impossible to be close to this place and not have it reflected in your art. People come from all over the world to see the wild-flowers, pine forests, black bears and roaring streams.
